At room temperature, or just a little cooler, this wine makes a wonderful aperitif, especially when served with salted almonds, olives or nuggets of Parmesan. It is also excellent when served with starters such as pat foie-gras, duck confit, welsh rarebit, game terrine or Yorkshire Pudding and onion gravy.
