    Established in 1958, Herdade da Farizoa is located in the Alentejo village of Terrugem, 17km from the historic town of Elvas, in the Borba subregion.The property has a total area of 157 hectares (388 acres), being 60 hectares (146 acres) vineyards. The remaining land is an extensive reserve of cork trees and holm oaks, known as montado, characteristic of the Alentejo landscapes.
