Andresen Vintage 2020 Port Wine offers an alluring, dark and impenetrable purple color, tinged with hints of garnet on the edges. It teases the nose with a bouquet of primary purple fruit, delicately intertwined with light mint and herbal notes. Upon tasting, there is an immediate burst of rich flavors from crushed boysenberries and blueberries, quickly followed by a powerful surge of massive grippy tannins. As the experience unfolds, the late palate is graced with wonderfully structured tannins that gradually make their way into an impressively long finish. This particular vintage is noted for its slightly drier presentation compared to other Andresen Vintage Ports.
