<p></p><p>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas.  Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</p> <p>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</p> <p></p> <p></p>

<p></p><p>The Quinta do Côtto, in Cidadelhe, relatively close to the Régua, is a property of 75 hectares of vineyard and a plot built in the eighteenth century. The owners of the farm, the Montez Champalimaud family, exclusively produced Port wine until the beginning of the 20th century. In 1980 Miguel Champalimaud launched the first Quinta do Côtto Grande Escolha, consolidating the concept of Douro's quinta wines, which are still rare in the region.<br />The Quinta do Côtto brand has grown greatly in notoriety since then, until it became one of the most classic and prestigious references in the Douro region</p>

<p>Quinta dos Avidagos has a wide range of wines that goes from Avidagos White, Red and Rosé, Quinta dos Avidagos Tinto Reserva, Quinta do Além Tanha Tinto and Quinta dos Avidagos Grande Reserva Tinto. The indigenous varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, for the reds and Gouveio, Rabigato and Viosinho for white, allow them to achieve all the personality and character of the terroirs of the Douro. Combining cutting-edge winemaking with the traditional foot treading in granite mills (lagares), the aim is to produce wines with excellent value money with recognized quality worldwide, international profile and the nature of their homeland. The excellence of the wine culture, the use of traditional varieties, as well as the structural conditions of the region and the human project, has constituted the secret of success. The Douro is actually unique, singular. The wines deserve attention from critics regarding the quality and sales, both domestically and in export markets, have increased. A pure wine with no make-up.</p> <p>The aim of this wine is to show that the Douro can also be the birthplace of great whites. Wines in which you can feel the legacy left to us by our elders and which today allow us to make distinctive wines full of character.</p>

<p></p><p><span>Nuno Aguiar (winemaker, former collaborator of Anselmo Mendes) and António Olazabal Ferreira (marine biologist in accelerated conversion to winemaker) have launched a wine called Boina, the first one is from 2015 and has a very appealing aesthetic. A series of wines that the duo began to produce in the Douro and in Trás-os-Montes, under the Portugal Boutique Winery project. The brand Boina groups the wines without wood of the Douro.</span></p>
