D'Oliveiras Sercial 1969 Dry Madeira Wine

This is a very old Madeira wine, that belongs to the rare fortified wines of great exclusivity, classified as "FRASQUEIRA" that was part of the wine collection of the family that own this wine company

The founders of D’Oliveiras were visionaries that saw the true value of Madeira Wine: its ability to improve over time. Therefore they started storing as much Madeira Wine as possible, letting it slowly mature inside the barrels for future generations to be able to enjoy it further. For that reason, D’Oliveiras is the only Madeira Wine company that owns Madeira Wine bottles and Barrels from as far as the 1850’s that can still be commercially purchased.

<p>"Single Cask" denotes that the wine originates entirely from one selected wooden barrel, handpicked by the winery due to its exceptional profile. The content of this specific cask has been bottled individually, without any blending or mixing with other wines. The outcome is a very limited edition of numbered bottles, intended for collectors. This unique process ensures the exclusivity and distinctive quality of the wine, elevating it to a coveted piece of art rather than a mere beverage.</p>

<p></p><p>Very few producers, and especially Madeira Wine, find in their history such a great revolution, as happened with Barbeito. Being a supplier of wines in bulk and from one moment to the other become a reference of the region of Madeira Wines, it is work. It all happened in 1991 when Ricardo Freitas joined the family business and decided, together with the Japanese Kinoshita with whom they joined, to make Barbeito one of the most important producers of Madeira Wine.</p>

Rosé dos Villões 2025 Wine

Wine From Portugal ,

<p>Rosé dos Villões is a unique wine produced from the Tinta Negra grape variety. Tinta Negra is an ancient grape variety from the Madeiran islands, and is still the primary base for the wines that have made this island famous. It is a rare grape variety that can only be found in regions close to the sea, where it is known by other names such as Molar in the Colares region or Saborinho in the Azores region. However, it should not be confused with the Negra Mole from Algarve, as it is a distinct grape variety. In the past, its role seemed to be to "blush" the white wines and give them a certain golden appearance that was appreciated at the time. Here, we test the potential of this grape variety in a Rosé.</p>
