Raspberry pink wine, with a slight gas release that enhances the aromas of red fruit (strawberries) and tropical fruits (bananas). In the mouth it presents a lively and fresh attack of intense and balanced taste, feeling of lightness and freshness with a very elegant finish.

Returning by train from the grape harvest in the Douro, the French oenologist Euge Hisse decided to interrupt his journey to Oporto after passing the vines of the Quinta da Aveleda, in Penafiel. The name came about by itself, since the wine was produced from one of the vines of Aveleda: that of Casal Garcia</p>

Here the versatility of Alvarinho is explored in combinations with other varieties planted in the same area. Alvarinho is always in the majority and the grape varieties for the blend are chosen at each harvest. Winemaking follows the Mixtus concept and the final wine results from fermentation in stainless steel and wood, the latter being light and used to give the blend structure.</p> <p>In 2024 Manuel and Luís Cerdeira selected the Arinto and Maria Gomes grape varieties for the final wine blend with Alvarinho.</p>
