Portal da Calçada presents a light salmon colour. It expresses the character of the Vinho Verde region with a fruity aroma and light floral notes with a lively acidity. It results in a very fresh, attractive and gastronomic wine.

It accompanies fish and seafood dishes.

In 1917, Lago Cerqueira founds the Caves of Calçada with the construction of a cellar in the House. Casa da Calçada, moreover, had long produced wines, and had a crown that proved it: that which is today the oldest vineyard in the region.
