It has a citrus flavour, with some clay sensation, a salty touch and a persistent, mineral and elegant finish. <p>Justino's Boal Colheita 2009 underwent a lengthy process of oxidative aging in Pipas (natural estufagem / canteiro), showcasing immense stability. Once opened, the bottle can be preserved in perfect condition for several months. It should be served slightly chilled, ideally between 13°C and 15°C.</p> <p>The Boal grape variety is traditionally used to produce Madeira wines of medium sweetness, characterized by a balanced acidity that prevents the wine from becoming overly cloying.</p>
