Soalheiro Sparkling white wine presents a yellow citrus colour, fine and persistent bubbles. The aroma of the fruit reveals Alvarinho grape, showing a good balance between acidity and alcohol. The flavour has mineral notes, persistence and good complexity

The Alvarinho grapes used in the Soalheiro came from several small vineyards planted in granite soil between 100 and 200 meters and located in a very particular microclimate. Melgaço region, the northern point of Portugal, is protected by a range of mountains that create the perfect conditions of rainfall, temperature and number of hours of sunshine needed to the better ripeness of the Alvarinho grapes

Cartuxa White Wine is then aged on fine lees with bâtonnage for nine months, adding richness and complexity. Bright citrus and tropical fruit aromas combine with subtle floral notes and a touch of minerality. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, with well-integrated acidity and a smooth, lingering finish. With 13% alcohol, this white is best served at 10–12 ºC and pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta de Marrocos vineyards extend up to 180m altitude, on terraces supported by stone walls. Exposure to the north is one of the key points, favoring a slow maturation of grapes: the altitude offers warm temperatures, the river breeze cools the vineyards at night. The average slope of 80% prevents mechanization, requiring an "heroic" viticulture. All work is manual, a century-old heritage that we want to keep, in respect for the age of the vines and the quality of the grapes. The low yields are inherent to this type of vines, without irrigation, in low fertility and a slightly acid pH schist soils.</p>
