Quinta da Fronteira Reserva 2015 Red Wine

Quinta da Fronteira Reserva harvest of 2015 has a deep, opaque, purple ruby color with a thin cranberry cherry rim. Dark cherry, dusky blackberry, smoky cedar, licorice, and earthy crushed stone aromas. Blackberry, tart spicy plum preserves, and rich oak flavors. Full body, rich grippy wooly tannins, medium plus acidity, and a lingering tart dark fruit and oak finish. Hefty, intense, tannic. I'll revisit this one in a few years.
