The Quinta do Couquinho vineyard is planted on rolling terrain on terraces known as terraces. All the traditional varieties of the Douro, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Barroca are represented in the vineyard.

A stele of the Chalcolithic, unique in Portugal, found in the farm was donated by the family and can be seen in the National Archaeological Museum in Lisbon.
