Quinta das Marias is a family business dedicated to the production of wines from the Dão region, founded about 25 years ago by its owners Elisabeth and Peter Eckler.
The dream of setting up this company began when Elisabeth and Peter bought 4ha of land and a house and almost ruined it over the years and turned it into a 12ha estate.
In 1998 the first good wines were produced and the one of the following year already won the gold medal in the Dão D.O.C. Contest.
