Tons de Duorum Red (Douro DOC) is a vibrant Portuguese red wine crafted from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz, grown on schist soils in the Douro Valley. The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, and gently crushed, followed by a cold pre-fermentation maceration for about three days. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at temperatures below 25 °C. The wine is then aged for approximately six months in second and third-year French oak barrels, preserving its freshness and structure
Tons de Duorum Red presents a deep ruby color with violet reflections. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of fresh red fruits like strawberries and raspberries. On the palate, it is balanced and smooth, with ripe tannins, good body, and lively acidity.
