Vértice Grande Reserva Red has a very dark with violet nuances color. The nose picks up notes of wild fruit, flowers, spices and smoke. The mouth follows the nose, denoting a structured medium-full body, smooth tannins and a profile typical of the Douro red wine. The finish is long and dense, long-lasting sensations of dark chocolate

This unique terrain infuses the wine with a distinct freshness and minerality. The grapes are meticulously hand-picked and placed in 20kg boxes, ensuring they arrive at the winery in pristine condition. At the winery, the winemaking process takes place in French oak barrels in a manner designed to respect the natural expression of the grape varieties and the terroir. After aging for 10 months in the French oak barrels, the wine is bottled and matures for a further year before it is ready for enjoyment.</p>
