<p></p><p>Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas is a result of the passion to display the individuality and character that the creators of this project have with the Douro region for more than two decades. After so many years of being surprised by this unique wine region, in 2009 the time arrived to show what they have been seeing in Douro wines. The company's history began in that year with the production of white wines from Murça, an area forgotten by progress, but that produces unique wines with full identity. In 2010, work began on an investment in the winery in Martim, Douro, and in 2012, in the cradle of Alvarinho, Monção region. In 2013, a partnership was started in Alentejo, vinifying, in third party facilities, the grapes chosen and acquired in the region of Estremoz. In 2017, Lua Cheia has extended its presence into other Portuguese wine region – Dão.</p>

<p></p><p>Wine produced from the grapes of several native grape varieties from the best vineyards of Quinta do Tondão, in the Duriense region of Cima Corgo. Received a stage in oak barrels for 12 months. It shows wild fruits, allied to barrel notes and soft tannins. Voluminous and long finish.</p>

<p>Quinta no Estrada Grande Reserva Red Wine is best enjoyed with structured and flavourful dishes that can match its intensity. Try it alongside rich grilled or roasted red meats, braised short ribs, or hearty game dishes, which complement its firm tannic structure and fruit concentration. The wine’s freshness and complexity also make it a great companion for aged cheeses and mushroom-based dishes, enhancing both the food and the wine. Serving it slightly below room temperature (around 16–18 °C) and decanting before drinking will help open up its aromas and soften its texture. </p>
