<p></p> <p>The wine that gave origin to this winery was the "Druida", back in 2012, and all the wines that followed are true to its original idea. The Druida were wise men of Celtic origin who sought to attain spiritual balance throught nature's equilibrium. <br />Druida and Vidente wines are just that, a pursuit for balance with the utmost respect for nature. This is a personal project driven by passion for wines, where the grapes are the real stars and winemaking is of minimal intervention. <p></p><p>Quinta da Alameda Torreão White Wine is produced exclusively from white grapes grown at Quinta da Alameda, Encruzado from the Torreão plot and 35% Arinto, vines that reflect the identity and minerality of Dão whites.</p> <p>Quinta da Alameda Torreão White Wine presents yellow, bright and clear. On the nose, the intense citrus flavour gives way to the resin of the Encruzado. On the palate, the acidity is queen, enveloped by the  thickness and elegant texture given by the wood. An excellent wine for Portuguese gastronomy.</p>

<p></p> <p>The Quinta Pedra da Cancela is the fruit of the passion for the wine of the Gouveia family. The winemaking operation has been a family activity for several generations, in the beginning they were delivering their grapes at the Adega Cooperativa. In 1999, with the end of the superior studies in Viticulture and Enology of João Paulo Gouveia, son of João Coelho Gouveia, they decide to create their own wine. The vineyards were restructured, others were acquired and a modern wine cellar was built and with a high technology, all respecting the culture of the Dão demarcated region. In 2014 the name of the company became Pedra Cancela Vinhos do Dão Lda</p>

<p></p><p>Lusus Red  Winehas a bright garnet colour with a purple tinge. The nose is complex showing dark fruits, cassis and very subtle liquorice, with a hint of red peppercorn and tobacco spice.  The palate is rich and powerful with plum, redcurrant leaf and black fruit flavours. The bright acidity balances this wine with fine, peripheral and incredibly long tannins, which give it a delicate and exquisite texture.</p>
