The Quinta Pedra da Cancela is the fruit of the passion for the wine of the Gouveia family. The winemaking operation has been a family activity for several generations, in the beginning they were delivering their grapes at the Adega Cooperativa. In 1999, with the end of the superior studies in Viticulture and Enology of João Paulo Gouveia, son of João Coelho Gouveia, they decide to create their own wine. The vineyards were restructured, others were acquired and a modern wine cellar was built and with a high technology, all respecting the culture of the Dão demarcated region. In 2014 the name of the company became Pedra Cancela Vinhos do Dão Lda

This wine results from the combination of the four main grape varieties of the Dão region: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Jaen. Deep ruby coloured with an intense aroma of wild berries and bergamot. In the mouth it is full-bodied, without losing its elegance. The aftertaste is long and complex

Niepoort Nat Cool Baga is naturally “cool and funky”. It represents an innovative concept initiated by Niepoort, in which various producers came together to create light and easy-to-drink wines. Nat Cool try to showcase a different and elegant side of the Baga grape variety

In the glass, A Descoberta Tinto presents a deep ruby color and aromas of fresh red berries, cherry, and light floral notes. On the palate, it is elegant, smooth, and well-balanced, with soft tannins and a clean, persistent finish. This wine is both easy to enjoy and refined, making it a versatile choice for pairing with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or hard cheeses. It's a great introduction to the charm and complexity of Dão wines

Bal da Madre wines represent the soul and essence of Beira Interior, the highest wine region in Portugal. Their unique freshness, aromatic exuberance and natural acidity are the purest reflection of this terroir.

The Symington family, with Scottish, English and Portuguese ancestry has been present in the Douro for five generations — since 1882 — and through the current generation’s great grandmother, the family’s links to the wines of the Douro span 14 generations, to the mid-17th century and to the very beginnings of the history of Port

Located in Vilar Seco, municipality of Nelas, in the district of Viseu, Quinta da Teixuga is a 30 hectare property.
Located in the heart of the Dão Region, it is surrounded by mountainous massifs, such as Serra da Estrela and Caramulo. This location allows excellent thermal amplitudes for a good maturation of the grapes leading to its slow maturation producing wines with rich aromas and good acidity

Under the brand Caminhos Cruzados greatest creative challenges are born. It is the name of the house that jumps to the bottle to ensure that all the wines with this stamp arise, to take us to a new Dão, reinvented in each bottle

Taboadella Grande Villae White Wine is a blend of indigenous white grapes, primarily Encruzado and Bical, often with other old-vine varietals. This white wine is noted for its almost indescribable aromatic complexity, firm texture, silky linearity, high concentration, and vibrant acidity, leading to a long, precise finish. Its aromas include white-fleshed fruits (apricots, pears, peaches) mixed with citrus notes, distinct minerality, and a hint of vanilla and oak spices. It's perfect with fresh seafood, poultry dishes, and creamy cheeses.

Marcos Hehn Cerceal White Wine presents crystal clear lemon yellow colour. Aroma of medium intensity, with notes of lemon and green peach, as well as some floral notes. Light to medium body, very vibrant high acidity, with notes of lemon juice, lime, yellow plum and some peach. Clean, direct, mineral finish with a lingering lemony note.

Opta wines are the result of the partnership between Camilo Leite and oenologist Nuno Cancela de Abreu.
Focused on the foreign market and the international consumer, this brand affirms itself by its originality and I ask for dynamism that makes it able to follow the trends and participate in world growth.

D. Áurea is a tribute to Grandmother Áurea, the family connection with Portuguese origins. 100% Bastardo from the sub-region of Dão – Serra da Estrela – at an altitude of 600 meters and in granite soils. The Bastardo grapes ferment in a press with 30% whole bunch and macerate for 15 days. Then they age for 1 year in old barrels. Delicate aromas with fruit character and some balsamic and spice notes. Firm but textured tannins, high sense of freshness and great complexity. It has enormous potential to age in bottle.

The history of the family business João M. Barbosa is recent but the personal experience acquired is already a lot. And it is from this experience that the project was born with a sui generis concept that promises to offer the best and to surprise wine lovers.
