Varer af mærket Herdade Vale d' Évora

The first act began in 2009 when Paulo Alho’s family decided to buy Herdade Vale d’Évora, in the lower Alentejo, they are from the sea and fish from Sesimbra.

Above all, they were fascinated by the great wild plain and the native hunting sanctuary that those wild lands of Mértola still offer.

Planting vineyards came next, an almost immediate second act and in a tone of provocation to the wild nature of the place or of homage to the Epicurean life, of which wine is a great ally. The meeting, the joy and the sharing among friends is a way of being for the family that in that Alentejo is even more desirable.

Next, in early 2017, Paulo Alho's brother ceded his share to a family friend, Vítor Pereira. Born in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Vítor and his wife, Fátima Martins, invested in the south and brought new energy to the project, without losing sight of the initial inspiration: the passion for wine, hunting and the finer things in life.
