Quinta do Encontro Blend 2023 White Wine

Quinta do Encontro is a fresh and expressive white wine from the Bairrada region of Portugal, made from a blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties including Arinto, Bical, and Maria Gomes. It shows a bright citrine colour with slight greenish tones and offers a distinct aromatic intensity, with predominately citrus fruit and subtle hints of dried fruit on the nose. On the palate, the wine is fruity and refreshing, with a notable volume in the mouth and elegant balance, making it approachable yet lively. 

Quinta do Encontro Blend pairs beautifully with a variety of lighter dishes thanks to its freshness and vibrant fruit character. It is ideal with Mediterranean fare such as grilled fish, fresh salads, or dishes with citrus and herbs, as well as lighter Asian cuisines like Chinese or Indian cuisine. Serving it chilled at around 8 °C enhances its refreshing qualities, and it also makes a great aperitif for social gatherings or summer meals outdoors.
