<p></p><p>Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas is a result of the passion to display the individuality and character that the creators of this project have with the Douro region for more than two decades. After so many years of being surprised by this unique wine region, in 2009 the time arrived to show what they have been seeing in Douro wines. The company's history began in that year with the production of white wines from Murça, an area forgotten by progress, but that produces unique wines with full identity. In 2010, work began on an investment in the winery in Martim, Douro, and in 2012, in the cradle of Alvarinho, Monção region. In 2013, a partnership was started in Alentejo, vinifying, in third party facilities, the grapes chosen and acquired in the region of Estremoz. In 2017, Lua Cheia has extended its presence into other Portuguese wine region – Dão.</p>

<p>Soalheiro Melpasso White Wine is a very gastronomic wine, ideal to accompany a meal. From roast or grilled fish, cod dishes, white meats with creamy sauces, pasta and risottos, Asian cuisine, red meats such as grilled veal or roast kid, soft cheeses and aged goat's cheeses.</p> <p>Soalheiro Melpasso White Wine presents an intense golden colour, with a clean shine and golden reflections. Complex aroma, with ripe fruit (pear, quince, dried apricot), subtle honey, orange blossom, dried fruit and delicate toasted and mineral notes. Voluminous and enveloping mouthfeel, with a firm texture, balanced acidity and layers of flavour that evolve in the glass. Long, elegant and textured finish, with aromatic persistence and a subtle return to dried fruit and minerality.</p> <p></p>

<p></p><p>QM Alvarinho Patrium White Wine has a clear appearance, an intense citrus color. The nose reveals notes of fresh floral, with a slight dried fruit complexion. Long and very persistent aftertaste.</p>

<p></p> <p>Pequenos Rebentos Viagem ao Principio do Mundo White Wine is made from the Alvarinho grape variety from vineyards in Melgaço, this wine macerated and fermented on the skins for approximately 30 days, then aged on its lees for 18 months in Jerez barrels with a flower veil. Aged for 18 months in bottle. This is a wine with a strong character, intense, complex and rustic. Pequenos Rebentos Viagem ao Princípio do Mundo will always be a special edition, only released in exceptional years.</p> <p></p>
