The Esporão Private Selection Red is a continuation of the Esporão Garrafeira Red, first launched in 1987. Initially a choice of the best barrels of Esporão Reserva, evolved, with time and a better knowledge of the vineyards, to a selection of the best fields of the Herdade do Esporão

Located in Alentejo (Portugal), in full mount, presents unique conditions for agriculture. With around 700ha of vineyards, olive groves and other crops. In this territory are planted about 40 grape varieties, 4 varieties of olives, orchards and vegetable gardens
