<p>Herdade Aldeia de Cima Alyantiju Red is an outstanding Alentejo wine, predominantly made from the Alicante Bouschet grape variety. It has a deep, intense ruby colour and a rich, concentrated aroma with notes of ripe black fruit, woodland nuances and subtle hints of oak and spices. On the palate, it is robust and serious, with rich dark fruit, refined tannins and a notable minerality, culminating in a long and memorable finish that expresses the density and complexity of its terroir.</p>

<p>Herdade do Monte da Ribeira was acquired in 1986 by the industrialist Victor Carmona e Costa who, in the following 15 years, not only completely reformed the estate, but also implemented the entire productive agricultural structure and wine cellar.<br />Herdade is owned by Casa Agrícola HMR SA, which is wholly owned by a foundation that bears the name of its two Founders, the Victor and Graça Carmona e Costa Foundation. <p>Meias Verdelho na Anfora White Wine has a light yellow citrus colour. The nose is fresh, with hints of white flowers, peaches, citrus notes and a subtle oxidative note (terracotta, ceramics/clay). It can also have savoury notes. The palate is dry, with good concentration and assertive acidity. It has a citrus flavour, with some clay sensation, a salty touch and a persistent, mineral and elegant finish. Its roots are intertwined with the history of the village itself, and with Vasco da Gama - the Count of Vidigueira, to whom D. Jaime, Duke of Bragança gave the village in 1519.
