Muscat is a family of grapes that are perhaps among the oldest in history. Red or white the grapes of this family have one thing in common: they are very aromatic.
The aromas of Muscat refer to fruits like apricot, peach, nectarine and orange, but also the roses, jasmine, honey ... But a peculiarity of Muscat is to produce wines which, curiously, bring grape aromas. The only fruit aroma that is rarely found in a wine is just the grape flavor. In addition to dry, rare wines, Muscat grapes are widely used to produce dessert wines . The Muscat grapes can achieve high levels of sugar in warmer areas.
The Muscat also produces sparkling wines, including many of the national sparkling. The Muscat is, in fact, one of the most prominent grapes in the national cultivation of grapes varieties.
